Client:
Ashanti Blaize-Hopkins is an influential figure in journalism and media education, with extensive experience as a professor and interim associate dean at Santa Monica College's Center for Media & Design (CMD) campus. As the current president of the Society of Professional Journalists, she is the first Black woman in this role, overseeing CMD's operations, strategic planning, partnerships, and efforts to enhance student enrollment and retention.
Problem:
Creating branding for a new podcast centered around career paths from scratch. This branding should strongly emphasize the podcast's unique theme and content, catering to a wide public audience while maintaining a connection to Santa Monica College.
Solution:
Design a logo that embodies the essence of the podcast's main idea, incorporating elements that resonate with a broad audience. Develop visual elements that are universally appealing and approachable. Additionally, craft posters for both Season One and the podcast as a whole, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity across all promotional materials.
